MAYOR
- AB 2372 (Ammiano): Property Taxation
Recommended Position: Support
AB 2372 provides that a reassessment should occur when 90% or more of the ownership interest in a legal entitle is sold in a single transaction, regardless of whether a single individual acquires more than 50% ownership interest.
- SB 580 (Jackson): Firearms
Recommended Position: Support
SB 580 appropriates $10 million over 3 years to the DOJ to ensure that the Armed Prohibited Persons Systems (APPS) database is up-to-date. It additionally allocates $5 million in grants to local law enforcement to assist with updating and implementing the APPS system.
