SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY FACILITY COMMISSION

Requests for public comment may also be heard after Commission discussion of an agenda item by completing an information card and submitting it to the Commission Secretary.  Requests are given “first come first serve” priority and speakers may be limited to three minutes.

3)   Announcement:  The Sunshine Ordinance prohibits the use of electronic sound-producing devices at/during public meetings.  Please be advised that the meeting chair may remove any person (s) responsible for the ringing or use of cell phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices from the meeting room.

 

4)    Public Comment:  Members of the public may address the Commission on matters under the jurisdiction of the Commission that is not on today’s agenda. (Limited to three minutes)

 

The goal of the Health and Housing Committee is to advocate, promote, and increase the awareness of health problems, i.e. obesity and diabetes, prostate, cervical and breast cancer, asthma, environmental hazards, etc. affecting BayView Hunters Point residents.

 

5)   Proposed Action:  Be it resolved that the minutes of the SECFC Health & Housing Ad-Hoc Committee meeting of Tuesday, May 10, 2011 be approved as submitted.

a.    Projected budget to fund 2011 Southeast Community Facility Health Fair 

b.   (Update) Conformation of funding contribution from PUC

c.    Create Committees to revise division of labor

d.   Establish a deadline for booth participation

e.   Devise a form letter for solicitation of donations
