Dee Schexnayder
Assistant to the Director & Office Manager
A native San Franciscan, Dee Schexnayder began working in theMayor's Office of Criminal Justice in July 1996. Dee is currently theAssistant to the Director/Office Manager of MOCJ. In this capacity, shecoordinates and manages the schedules, travel arrangements, events, andprogram needs for all MOCJ staff. Dee brings to MOCJ a vast knowledgeabout criminal justice and is able to assist constituents seekinginformation and assistance from MOCJ.
Prior to joining the Mayor's Office, Dee worked for the SanFrancisco Public Defender's Office for over 15 years in a variety ofcapacities. She was a legal assistant, assisting counsel with deathpenalty cases and she also managed the court document filing system forthe entire office. She is a graduate of Galileo High School and has adegree in business administration from Heald Business College.
