Special meeting of the Elections Commission

of the City and County of San Francisco

 

An educational forum on the current and future state of

voting systems and vote tabulation devices

Location:           Koret Auditorium, Main Branch, San Francisco Public Library, 30 Grove Street Entrance

 

The Koret Auditorium, located on the lower level of the Main Branch of the Public Library located at 100 Larkin Street (at Grove), enter 30 Grove Street, and proceed down stairs.

 

The meeting is open to all interested members of the public.

 

The scope of the forum is to allow members of the Elections Commission, and interested members of the public, to learn about and discuss the complex issues regarding the current and future development of voting technology and voting systems, including issues of public confidence.

 

The Elections Commission will hear information from a panel of experts, including:

Disability Access

This meeting will be held in the Koret Meeting Room of the S. F. Public Library located at 100 Larkin Street.  The 30 Grove Street Entrance is accessible to wheelchairs and the Koret Meeting Room is wheelchair accessible. The closest accessible BART station is the Civic Center Station at United Nations Plaza and Market Street. Accessible MUNI lines serving this location are: #42 Downtown Loop, and #71 Haight/Noriega and the F Line to Market and Van Ness and the Metro Stations at Van Ness and Market and at Civic Center. For information about MUNI accessible services call (415) 923-6142. There is accessible curbside parking adjacent to City Hall on Grove Street and around the Library.
