ON A PROPOSAL TO CHANGE THE ELECTION CYCLES
IN SAN FRANCISCO
AT CITY HALL, ROOM 082
FROM 10:00 AM TO 11:00 AM
MONDAY, JUNE 26, 2006
Members of the Election Commission will be in attendance at a presentation by a member of Supervisor McGoldrick’s office regarding his proposed Charter Amendment to change the election cycle for the offices of Mayor, Sheriff, District Attorney, City Attorney and Treasurer so that these offices will be elected in even-numbered years; and to amend the definition of general municipal election so that such elections occur only in even-numbered years.
The Elections Commission will not be taking any action at this meeting. Public comment will be taken, however, if four or more commissioners attend the meeting and establish a quorum.
