1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Chair Redmond Kernan called the meeting to order at 10:25 a.m..
Present:: Lake Street Residents Association –Bill Shepard; Laurel Heights Improvement Association – Donald Green; Marina Community Association – Martin Beresford; Marina Merchants Association; Neighborhood Associations for Presidio Planning –Judith Hulka; Pacific Heights Residents Association – Carola Shepard; Planning Association for the Richmond – Redmond Kernan; Presidio Environmental Council – Doug Kern; Sierra Club - Becky Evans

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
By motion of Ms. Shepard and second by Mr. Green the minutes of the September 11, 2008 meeting were approved.
3. CHAIR REPORT
Chair Redmond Kernan reported that the group’s main concern is to work on the content of the draft letter to the Presidio Trust and formatting of same. The group reviewed a resolution that they would like passed by the Board of Supervisors to support the work of the Presidio Neighborhood Neighborhood Representative Work Group.
The upcoming meeting schedule and deadlines were reviewed. The group agreed NOT to meet on October 2, 2008 due to the hearing in the City Operations and Neighborhood Services that same day.
During the Chair’s report, Clay Harrell of the Presidio Trust announced that the public workshop originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on October 2, 2008 has been changed to 8:30 a.m. due to the vice-presidential debate that evening.
4. REVIEW DRAFT REPORT COMPOSED BY DOUG KERN
The work group reviewed the report and made comments on drafting and points of follow-up. The final draft should be ready by the September 25, 2008 meeting and ready to send to the Supervisors sitting on the City Operations and Neighborhood Services Committee (Supervisors Chu, Elsbernd and McGoldrick) by September 30, 2008.
5. REPORT ON STATUS OF CITY DEPARTMENT REPORTS ON SEIS
Nothing to report.
6. WRAP-UP OF ISSUES WORK GROUP MAY CONSIDER AT FUTURE MEETINGS
More review of draft report and method of presentation to the CONS committee discussed.
