1. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL AND INTRODUCTIONS
Jill Lerner of the City Administrator's Office called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m.

2. OVERVIEW OF LAWS AND RULES FOR CITY WORK GROUPS, TASK FORCES AND ADVISORY BOARDS
Deputy City Attorney Mariam Morley appeared to explain applicability of Brown Act, Sunshine Ordinance, Public Meeting and Public Information laws.
3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
By motion of Ms. Vaughey and second by Ms. Evans, Mr. Kernan was unanimously elected chair of the Work Group. Mr. Kernan requested that co-chair or vice chair be elected at the next meeting.
4. OVERVIEW OF ISSUES IN SEIS WORK GROUP MAY CONSIDER IN FUTURE MEETINGS
Mr. Kernan: impact on historic/cultural resources
Mr. Green: re Fisher art collection, City should look at alternative sites outside the Presidio; look to the Convention and Visitors Bureau to find out financial benefits museums bring to City through tourism, taxes, etc; as well as transportation costs.
Mr. Bancroft: suggested MOMA be asked for attendance figures for peak days and peak hours.
Mr. Kerr: would like to see an alternative view of the Presidio's future projected.
Ms. Evans: suggested asking Fine Arts Museums for visitation statistics with reference to parking.
It was agreed that the next meeting agenda would include a request to the Presidio Trust to request an extension of time for the period to respond to the SEIS.
5. INITIAL REVIEW OF SEIS
Members identified concerns about various issues in the SEIS.
6. TIMELINES
Due to a short response period, the Work Group agreed to meet every Thursday through August 7 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with the exception of the July 10th and the July 31st meetings, which will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:15 p.m.
