SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY FACILITY COMMISSION
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2001 - 6:00 P.M.

Requests for public comment may also be heard after Commission discussion of an agenda
item by completing an information card and submitting it to the Commission Secretary.
Requests are given ‘first come first serve' priority and speakers may be limited to three minutes.

I.          Call to Order
II.          Announcement: The Sunshine Ordinance prohibits the use of electronic sound-producing devices at and during public meetings. Please be advised that the meeting chair may remove any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of cell phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices from the meeting room.
III.          Roll Call
IV.          Approval of Minutes: March 28 and April 12, 2001 (Discussion & Action)
V.          Public Comment: Members of the public may address the Commission on matters
          under the jurisdiction of the Commission not on today's agenda.
VI.          Communications:
a)          Invitations to several CBO's (Community-based Organizations) in the Bayview-Hunter’s Point (94124) namely Young Community Developers (YCD), Dwayne Jones, Executive Director; DHS One Stop Career Center at Southeast, Cedric Jackson, Director and Neighborhood Jobs Initiative Roundtable (NJIR), Angelo King, to present the respective programs plans for summer employment, etc.;
b)          Invitation to San Francisco Deputy Police Chief Earl P. Sanders, and Bayview Police Station Capt. Patricia "PJ" Jackson to present a follow-up and update on "Take killers off our neighborhood streets and stop the violence" Project.
VII.          Director's Report:
a)          Update on the HVAC Energy Conservation and Upgrade Project;
b)          Update on ADA handicap access to the parking area project.
VIII.          Presentation - Mr. George J. Smith, III, Director of the Mayor's Office on Homelessness, Updating of the Status of Homeless Shelters in San Francisco (Discussion & Action)
IX.          Presentation - Bayview-Hunter’s Point CBO's Summer (2001) Projects: YCD, Southeast Career Center and NJIR (Discussion & Action)
X.          Old and On-going Business (Discussion & Action):
a)          Committee assignments of Commissioners.
XI.          Introduction of New Business by Commissioners (Discussion)
XII.          Adjournment
