- Maintain the department’s National Public Health Accreditation, which recognizes excellent performance and affirms that programs and services are responsive to needs of the community.
- Promote pedestrian safety through Vision Zero, which is the City’s commitment to eliminating all traffic-related deaths by 2024.
- Lead the Getting to Zero campaign with the vision of zero new HIV infections, zero HIV-related deaths, and zero stigma in San Francisco.

- Implement the Community Health Improvement Plan to reduce economic barriers to health and address health disparities.
- Support the Black/African American Health Initiative to reduce hypertension, alcohol use disorder, and breast cancer.
- Collaborate with City partners through the Our Children, Our Families Council to improve the health of children, youth, and families.
