More Technology Leaders Join Meeting with Mayor Lee

4/15/11—Mayor Edwin M. Lee today announced more technology leaders will join a meeting comprised of CEOs of large technology firms based in San Francisco, early and late stage venture investors, and legal professionals and City staff early next week.

“We are seeing more and more high-growth, technology companies interested in job creation and improvements to the current tax structure, while still ensuring everyone pays their fair share for City services,” said Mayor Lee. “Our City is home to a thriving hub of innovation, and it is vital that we keep technology companies here to sustain this creativity that is thriving in our economy.”

Technology firms, investment and legal professionals like Yelp!, Twitter, Zynga Inc., salesforce.com, Riverbed Technology, Advent Software, DriverSide, Dorsey & Whitney, Artis Capital Management, Kirk Dizon and Ron Conway will attend the meeting with Mayor Lee, Board of Supervisors President David Chiu and Supervisors Mark Farrell and Ross Mirkarimi.
