Mayor Lee’s Statement on Mediated Settlement Reached with City’s Second Largest Union
Mayor Edwin M. Lee today made the following statement on the mediated settlement reached in contract negotiations with the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE), Local 21, the second-largest union representing City employees:
“We have reached an agreement that is fiscally responsible and recognizes the contributions of the City’s employees. I thank the members of both bargaining teams and Arbitrator Carol Vendrillo for their efforts in reaching this tentative agreement.”
