Joanna has been working with and in the disability community for thelast twelve years.  Most recently, she worked with the City ofSacramento implementing the Barden v. Sacramento settlement agreementinvolving physical and programmatic access in the pedestrian right ofway.  Before that she provided disability rights trainings andtechnical assistance with an organization responsible for answeringinquiries from the entire Pacific region of the United States.

A graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in Psychology and Sociologyand a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the CaliforniaSchool of Professional Psychology, and has worked with people withdisabilities, including psychiatric disabilities, in a variety ofclinical and non-clinical settings.
