The Parade will begin on Market Street at Steuart Street and will head westbound on Market Street, before continuing on McAllister Street to the Civic Center Plaza. The ceremony in front of City Hall will begin around 12:30 p.m. Public transportation is strongly encouraged.

Credentials: Any of the following credentials will be honored to cover the World Series Parade Civic Celebration
• 2012 Regular Season Giants Credential
• 2012 Post Season Credential Issued by MLB & the San Francisco Giants
• SFPD Issued Press Pass
If you do not have one of the above credentials already in your possession, please contact Maria Jacinto at mjacinto@sfgiants.com by 4p.m. today, to obtain a credential to cover the event. You will pick it up at either one of the two media check-in locations below.

Two Media Check-In Locations:
Start of Parade Route: Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Press Check-In located at the Parade Staging area on Main Street at Mission Street. There will be one media coral close to the beginning of the parade. Access to this area will be restricted to those with proper credentials. Locations in the coral will be obtained on a first come, first serve basis.

Civic Center: Check-In begins at 8:00 a.m. at the corner of Grove Street and Van Ness Avenue. There will be a media platform located at the Civic Center Plaza across from the steps of City Hall to cover the ceremony. Access to this area will be restricted to those with the proper credentials. Locations on the platform will be obtained on a first come, first serve basis.
