Media required to RSVP for tour of the tunnel launch box, the excavation beneath 4th Street where tunneling will begin, with Paul Rose at 415.601.1637 or paul.rose@sfmta.com to participate in the tour after the ceremony. Reporters and photographers must wear full-length pants and appropriate footwear to participate in the launch box tour. For safety reasons, hiking boots or work boots are required. No other types of footwear will be allowed on this active construction site.
