Violence Prevention Planning

MOCJ is engaged in a strategic planning initiative to develop a 3 to 5 year, citywide plan for violence prevention. A Leadership Council of more than 40 representatives from numerous City agencies and community leaders is overseeing the process.

Community Programs and Community Partnerships

MOCJ pursues and manages state, local, federal, and private funds to support community programs that enhance public safety. MOCJ currently provides funding to over 30 community-based organizations.

Collaborations and Innovations in Criminal Justice

MOCJ facilitates collaboration among city agencies to develop crime reduction strategies that are aligned with best practices in public safety.
