            Discussion and possible action:

            After giving the American Legion War Memorial Commission ten months to comply with their requests for financial information to renew their expired (12/31/08) agreement, the War Memorial Board of Trustees voted unanimously at their Oct. 8th meeting to not give any more extensions and to stop direct payments to the Legion Commission. This action will be in effect until the Legion Commission, "Resolve questions and any discrepancies concerning the Commission's income and expenditure statement for 2007 through 2009 and Confirm the Legion Commission has adequate financial controls and practices in place to manage future income and expenditures on behalf of the Posts".

11. HONORS REPORT & ADJOURNMENT in memory of the 5,140+ Americans killed in Iraq (4,330) /Afghanistan (810), the homeless veterans that died in San Francisco, and the veterans that died because of suicide during the month of October.
