Clipper Cove Short-Term Anchorages

With summer upon us, TIDA encourages sailors and other recreational boaters to take advantage of Clipper Cove and San Francisco Bay.  Recreational boaters are welcome in Clipper Cove for daytime and short-term anchorages.  If you intend to anchor longer than 24 hours, we ask that you contact the Treasure Island Marina and inform them of your presence.  On days when Treasure Isle Marina is closed, please contact TIDA.

Treasure Isle Marina - 415-981-2416 (Wednesday through Sunday)

Legislation is currently pending before the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, introduced at the May 5, 2009 meeting of the Board of Supervisors, which will allow for structured oversight of short-term vessel anchorages in Clipper Cove.  TIDA encourages all interested parties to provide feedback and suggestions on how to make the process convenient and boater friendly.

 CCI

The Treasure Island Redevelopment Project has been announced as one among 16 founding projects of the Climate Positive Development Program, a Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) program that will support the development of large-scale urban projects that demonstrate cities can grow in ways that are "climate positive." Climate Positive real estate developments will strive to reduce the amount of on-site CO2 emissions to below zero.
