Anni Chung is currently the President and CEO of Self Help for the Elderly.

 

London Breed is the Executive Director of the African American Art & Culture Complex in San Francisco 's Western Addition community. Under the leadership of Ms. Breed, the African American Art & Culture Complex has become one of the most renowned and progressive institutions of African centered cultural expression in the San Francisco Bay Area. In April 2005, Mayor Gavin Newsom appointed Ms. Breed to the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency Commission where she now serves as the commission Vice-President.

Marcus Clarke is a Program Coordinator at the Bayview Business Resource Center.

Laura Efurd is the Chief Community Investment Officer at the Community Technology Foundation of California where she oversees the foundation's programmatic work including grants, initiatives and policy development and implementation. Ms. Efurd has over 15 years of legislative and public policy experience. She served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison in the Clinton Administration. She coordinated the Administration's legislative activities around employment and training issues as Associate Director of Legislative Affairs for the U.S. Department of Labor. Laura was Legislative Director to the late Congresswoman Patsy T. Mink of Hawaii, working on policy issues related to education, labor, welfare, civil rights and health care. She is a recipient of the Women's Information Network Young Women of Achievement Awards and a 2002 Asian Pacific American Women's Leadership Institute Fellow. She serves on the Federal Communications Consumer Advisory Committee and the Board of Trustees for the Patsy Takemoto Mink Foundation for Low-Income Women & Children.

 

Eli Horn is the Director of the Visitacion Valley Beacon Center.

 

NaNoshka Johnson is Founder and CEO of EventRegistration.com, a web based registration, ticketing and merchandising solution for meetings and events.  Ms. Johnson has been an entrepreneur for almost 15 years. Ms. Johnson's projects include supporting the Space Station Freedom Program, the California Code of Regulations, and projects for Ford Aerospace/Space Systems, Sun Microsystems, World Cup Soccer, NIKE and Grants for the Arts.  Ms. Johnson teaches web design and internet strategy at the University of California at Santa Cruz, and also developed and taught internet strategy course at Golden Gate University.  She was appointed Technology Chair for San Francisco's Small Business Forum by Former Mayor Willie Brown. 

 

George Lee is the Communications Arts Academy Program Coordinator for Balboa High School where he teaches Media Arts.  George is also a Consultant Teacher for the Bay Area California Arts Project, San Jose State University School of Art and Design. 

 

Sydney Levy is Program Director at Media Alliance.

 

Michael McCarthy is an independent consultant who has spent the last 15 years working with low-income families and communities. He has created welfare to work and technology training programs at Compass Family Center and Homeless Prenatal Program. Michael has been an IT Director, employment specialist, technology curriculum developer, counselor, successful fund raiser, and program manager. He recently managed OpNet Community Ventures a workforce development program that trained young adults for jobs in the IT industry.  He is currently assisting several San Francisco non-profits in developing community technology programs. He is on the steering committee of the Bay Area Community Technology Network and on the board of directors of Compass Community Services. He lives near the Panhandle with his wife and two young children.  He holds a B.A. from Earlham College in Richmond, IN.

 

Alexander (Sasha) Magee is a Consultant and Founder and Board Member of the Funnel Foundation.

 

Meghan Nesbit is the Global Product Donations Manager at Salesforce.com.  She works directly with the nonprofit community and nonprofit technology providers to ensure that nonprofits have access to technologies that enable their organizations to achieve thier social missions.  Previous to Salesforce, Meghan worked at KickStart, an international nonprofit founded in Kenya to promote sustainable growth and employment creation in developing countries. 

 

Silvana Rainey is Co-Founder and Director of Training Services at Adaptive Technology Services.  Founded in 2002, Adaptive Technology Services delivers services and training to blind and visually impaired individuals who depend on adaptive tecnologies to achieve professional and personal goals.  Silvana is a nationally recognized authority in the field of adaptive technology for the blind and visually impaired.  She designed a comprehensive "train the trainers" course with manuals and video on adaptive technology that was funded and distributed by the American Foundation for the Blind.  She previously worked at AccessAbility, Inc. and the Rose Resnick Lighthouse for the Blind.  Silvana has taught classes at the San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Library.

Valerie Tulier is Coordinator of the Latino Steering Committee and District Representative for the Office of California State Senator Carole Migden.

 

Julie Yick is the Development Coordinator for the Women's Initiative for Self-Employment.
