The written test process for H-2 Firefighter has concluded. Candidates will be notified regarding their results via email and it is anticipated that the eligible list will be posted by January 2010. When the Fire Department determines that there is a need to conduct a Fire Academy class, candidates on the eligible list will be surveyed regarding their possession of a current, valid EMT certification, and the remaining components of the selection process will begin.
Questions regarding the H-2 Firefighter selection process should be directed to the Department of Human Resources, Fire Services Exam Unit at (415) 557-4822. Applicants are encouraged to check this page of the SFFD website on a regular basis for updated information.
