The Port of San Francisco is pleased to present the culmination of an extensive and comprehensive two-year planning process with the release of a Draft Pier 70 Preferred Master Plan. The Port will be conducting community outreach throughout the summer to a variety of organizations to receive input on the Draft Plan, We would also welcome written comments either through this web site (below) or directly to David Beaupre at david.beaupre@sfport.com. Public comment has been extended to October 13, 2009.

Some important dates to remember are:

September 16, 2009:  Informational Presentation to the San Francisco Historic Preservation Commission
12:30 pm - Hearing Room 400
City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlet Place

September 17, 2009  Informational Presentation to the San Francisco Planning Commission

NEW PUBLIC COMMENT DEADLINE:  October 13, 2009.  Comments may be received in public hearings, writing on online at www.sfport.com/pier70 or to david.beaupre@sfport.com.

September 2009:  Port Staff summary of input received, any revisions to Plan, and recommended next steps for Port Commission consideration
