Welcome to the Consultant Resources web page of the Major Environmental Analysis (MEA) Division of the San Francisco Planning Department. Here you will find links to documents and websites useful in the preparation of environmental review analysis documents for MEA. These links include information on the consultant pool, CEQA document and technical analysis guidelines, document templates and forms, sample published documents, and general CEQA information. MEA will update these items periodically, so please check for updates on this web page to ensure that you are working with the most recent version.

Consultant Pools The Planning Department has established pools of qualified consultants with expertise in the preparation of environmental impact and transportation impact documents. All environmental review and transportation impact analyses for projects for which Environmental Evaluation Applications were filed on or after establishment of the pools on August 1, 2008 must be prepared by a consultant who is included in the pools. The following documents are lists of consultants included in the pools, procedures for administering the pools, and consultants selected from the pools for individual projects.
