Rulemaking Process
From January through June 2007, proposed regulations implementing the Employer Spending Requirement of the Health Care Security Ordinance were available for review and public comment. The deadline for submission of written comments was Friday, June 29, 2007. Public hearings, which provided an opportunity for individuals to present oral testimony regarding the Employer Spending requirement of the HCSO, were held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. in City Hall, Room 416 and at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall, Room 400.
Final regulations were released on July 12, 2007.
