What is the ART@MONS program?
Mayor Gavin Newsom and the MONS staff firmly believe that the arts are an integral part of San Francisco culture and tradition, that art and music plays a critical role in the development of our students and their overall academic achievements, and that it enriches the lives of all San Franciscans. This vision led to the creation of the ART@MONS & MUSIC@MONS Programs, a year-round venue at City Hall for showcasing the myriad forms of artistic expression that can be found throughout our great City. All ART@MONS/MUSIC@MONS events are admission free and open to the public, and we invite you to come and experience the incredible talent and diversity that the arts in San Francisco can offer.
Please visit the ART@MONS Archives to view images from past events, and check back periodically to view the new collections on display and watch for upcoming events. For information on how to participate in the ART@MONS program, or to be added to our e-mail list, please contact Daniel Homsey at 554-7114, or daniel.homsey@sfgov.org.
