The Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services (MONS) in conjunction with Enterprise GIS team - are announcing SF.Find. SF.Find is San Francisco's new online tool that allows citizens to determine which services are nearby, based on their neighborhood, supervisory district, or address. Linked to dynamic databases that are frequently updated, SF.Find combines cutting edge mapping technology with visionary customer service - with the intent of making it easier for SF citizens to understand and find the services that are provided to them.

SFViewer is San Francisco's flagship dynamic mapping application, providing a one-stop portal for basic geographic information within San Francisco. Especially useful is the 'information' tool within SFViewer - which allows users to select any location, and get basic information - such as: who your elected officals are for a selected location (Supervisor, Congressional Rep., etc.): your nearest library and school: or zoning/street cleaning information for a selected location.

SFProspector offers businesses immediate access to information that will assist with expansion and relocation decisions. Developed for the Mayor's Office of Business and Economic Development, SFProspector allows businesses to obtain economic, planning, geographic, and demographic information, in real time, via the web. The application allows users to view, create, and print maps; perform site selection searches, and customize/analyze demographic data. |

The Office of the Assessor-Recorder's new SFParcel application allows San Francisco citizens to find a property by entering an address, entering a block and lot number, or clicking on the map. Users can find out the assessed taxable values for a property, as well as its characteristics.SFParcel saves San Francisco time and money, by allowing citizens to answer questions on their own over the web, thus freeing up Assessor personnel for other tasks. |

The San Francisco Police Department has recently launched their CrimeMAPS interactive mapping application - developed and supported by the SFGIS team. CrimeMAPS provides near-real time crime information to citizens - with a variety of mechanisms for querying and analyzing this data. |
