The San Francisco Entertainment Commission

The San Francisco Entertainment Commission was established in 2003 with the mission to regulate, promote and enhance the field of entertainment in the city of San Francisco. The seven member commission has powers to accept, review and gather information to conduct hearings for entertainment-related permit applications. Additionally The Entertainment Commission plans and coordinates the provision of City services for major events for which there is no recognized organizer, promoter, or sponsor.

 

NOTICE


The following matters will be considered for approval at the Entertainment Commission's November 3, 2009 meeting, to be held at 5PM in Room 406, City Hall , 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place :

(1) Proposed change to the Entertainment Commission "Good Neighbor Policy", to require additional phone contact information /accessibility   by phone  of venue management following the close of business .

 (2) Proposed change to the application process for Place of Entertainment and Extended Hours Premises permits , requiring applicants to have a   pre-application  formal outreach process  to neighbors and neighborhood groups.
