Capital Planning Program
About Us
In response to concerns from City leaders and citizens, Mayor Gavin Newsom and the Board of Supervisors passed legislation in August 2005 requiring the City to develop and adopt annually a ten-year capital expenditure plan for city-owned facilities and infrastructure. This legislation led to the establishment of the Capital Planning Program.
Using criteria established by the Capital Planning Committee, staff analyzes available funding resources and develops and implements a ten-year capital plan and annual capital budget.
