Civil Service Commission
The Civil Service Commission considers appeals of administrative actions by the Human Resources Director, Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) Director and the Commission's Executive Officer. Procedures for Appellants and Departmental staff are provided to assist in the filing of appeals and requests for hearing before the Civil Service Commission.
The Procedures cover appeals applicable to All Classes including the Uniformed Ranks of the Police and Fire Departments and appeals applicable to Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) Service-Critical Classes.
