Community Challenge Grant Program

The Community Challenge Grant Program (CCG), formerly known as the Neighborhood Beautification Fund, provides matching grants to local residents, businesses, non-profits and other community groups to make physical improvements to their neighborhoods. The CCG focuses on projects that directly engage residents and businesses in working together to create green spaces, gathering places, public art, and other neighborhood amenities. The program provides an important tool for enabling communities to take the lead in conducting small-scale improvements in their own communities.

Groups of residents or businesses,community groups, and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply. Grants range from small to large, and are broken down as follows:

Award Notification Week of December 6, 2009
Contract Period: Small/Medium Grant Awards January 1, 2010 - June 30, 2010         
Contract Period: Large Grant Awards January 1, 2010 - December 31, 2010
