The Auxiliary Communications Service (ACS) was organized by the San Francisco Office of Emergency Services (OES) following the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake.

The Auxiliary Communications Service holds its General Meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at the San Francisco Fire Department Division of Training Center, 2300 Folsom Street and 19th Street, from 1900 hours to 2100 hours local time. All interested persons are welcome to attend.
