I. Call to Order:
Acting Committee Chair, Commissioner Heidi Hardin called the Monday, January 22, 2001 Facility Committee meeting to order at 12:12 p.m.
II. Roll Call:
Present: Commissioner Heidi Hardin
Commissioner Kim Nguyen
Commissioner Millard Larkin II
Excused: Commissioner Bobbrie Brown

Basconcillo, SECF-Sec;
III. Policy for SECF and E.P.Mills tenants to use both Alex Pitcher Community Room and E.P.Mills Auditorium for on-going non-social events. After discussion Commissioner Nguyen moved and Commissioner Hardin seconded to recommend the following policy to full Commission: Tenants may schedule the use of both/either the Alex Pitcher Community Room and the Earl P. Mills Community Auditorium during business hours but must yield when the room is requested by other community groups and/or City agencies. During non-business hours (evenings, weekends and holidays) tenants may not schedule the rooms on an on-going basis. Motion passed.
IV. Requests from CCSF/Southeast campus to extend request to use the Alex Pitcher Community Room for Physical Education/Dance classes for the Spring 2001 semester (January 18 through May 1, 2001). After discussion Commissioner Nguyen moved and Commissioner Hardin seconded to recommend the following to full Commission: City College of San Francisco/Southeast Campus be allowed to use the Alex Pitcher Community Room on Mondays from January 22 through May 21, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for a Physical Education/Hip Hop dance class. Motion passed.
V. Requests from CCSF/Southeast campus to mount mural panels in the interior of the Southeast Community Facility. After discussion, the group was referred to the San Francisco Arts Commission for mural design approval, then return to the Southeast Community Facility Commission for further consideration.
VI. Public Comment: No public comment was offered at this meeting.
VII. Adjournment
Commissioner Larkin and Commissioner Nguyen seconded moved to adjourn the Committee meeting at 2:15 p.m.
